Hi, my husband and I were in San Francisco last week for a mini vacation/job training and happened to stop by the Ripley's museum. The statues were outside and we just happened to migrate to them. Well, my husband and I are not "trying" yet though, I just forgot seriously by accident to get my birth control filled...lol We had plan to start trying in a month or two so, if it happens we would be more than happy about it. Anyways, I gave my husband a smirk and touched one of the statues, my husband corrected me and said I had to touch both so I did. As we were walking off my husband said "Now I am doomed!" LOL...sure hope it works that would be awesome!! We shall see in about two weeks!! Wish us luck!!

We have been to Ripleys Believe it or Not in Blackpool for the last 2 years and w all love it. 2 years ago I touched the fertility statue but I only touched with one hand and nothing happened. Last year we had been trying for 2 years to get pregnant, so both my husband and I touched the fertility statue exactly how it stated it to. I found out I was pregnant the following month, I worked out the date we conceived which was a week after our holiday, but what was even weirder was when I had the dating scan, the date they gave me was the actual date we touched the statue. How weired was that! We're going to try it again.

We recalled our visit 6 months later when found out I was pregnant! Your fertility statue indeed has something going on! Thank you- and we may be back again :) Rosaleen

Came to Ripleys whilst on holiday 2 years ago and touched the fertility statue, did it for more of a laugh really and never thought anything of it as partner and i had been trying for a baby for 2 years and were about to start IVF....well to my complete suprise I now have a healthy 5 month old baby girl as I fell pregnant naturally, despite being told by doctors it was highly unlikely we'd ever be able to have a child naturally without the help of ivf! Im still amazed to this day and will be visiting again soon....she needs a brother!!!

Me and my hubby visited Ripley's last wednesday as we were on a 2 day break in Blackpool. You have some amazing artifacts on show. My hubby was quite taken with the rolling tunnel at the end, I couldn't get him out of there!! He needed to know how it was done, lol. Anyway, we both touched the fertility statue several times as we would really like to have children soon. I suffer from PCOS which means I am finding it difficult to conceive. I have read everyone's stories on this notice board, I really hope it works for us. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it does. Many congratulations to all the couples that have conceived so far. I'll let you know if anything happens.

I am writing about your fertility statue, and I swear that I am telling
the truth!
Not long after I got married, we came to Blackpool and I touched your
statue and I went on to have 3 children in 3 1/2 years, the 3rd of which
was conceived while taking precautions that had worked well before we got
married. Anyway, we didnt want any more children after that so my
husband had a vasectomy which was completely successful.
We came to Blackpool last September and I dont know why, but I felt the
urge to touch it again, I think just because I thought "you cant get me
now". Now however, I am sitting here 20 weeks pregnant again by my
husband who has been to hospital for tests since finding out and it has
healed itself! The doctor told us there was only a 1 in 2000 chance of
that happening.
I just thought I would let you know - I only made the connection last
night!

In March 1999 we visited Ripleys on a wet weekend and loved the
exhibits we had been trying for a baby for 3 years with no success and
were considering fertility treatment, we saw the staute and even though
myself and my husband were both sceptical i rubbed her belly, imagine my
suprise at finding out 4 months later that i was 3 months pregnant! Our
son Zachary was born on October 13 1999 1 month early by section! We then
settled down to family life and started trying for another baby but month
after month went by and year after year and nothing so it was off to
doctors for tests, we had forgotton all about the statue and so when in
blackpool again in July for the dsy, we were passing the Ripleys show
again, we saw the statue and looked at each other and just had to try
again we filled the book in at reception about our first touch and paid
and went in i went through all the exhibits at lightening speed (sorry)
and came face to face i immidiately rubbed her belly again and then again
for luck, i even said to a teenage girl not to touch unless she wanted a
baby! Well my second son arrived safely on 9th March 2006 1 month early
by section again! I am now totaly convinced as is my husband that the
statue is responsible for our beautiful boys, you point any disbeliver to
us and we will convince them! Thank you Ripleys for our sons two rubs and
that gave two boys xXx

Hi there, just wanted to let you know we had a great time in Blackpool
last summer and we loved your attraction. It was full of intersting
things, we loved the mirror where you pull faces, and the mechanical
fortune tellers. We had been trying for a baby for nearly two years
without luck. So when we saw the fertility statue we both give it a rub
not expecting much to happen. We are now expecting the birth of our first
child in early May. We would like to pass on our thanks to you and your
statue. We look forward to coming back soon with our baby.
Wishing you all the best in the future
